A human services organization focused on the developmentally disabled community was looking for a better way to connect clients, caregivers, clinicians, staff and leadership in a safe way. This community had largely been overlooked by technology and innovation leaders to date. We were seeking a solution to tie together clinical data, communication and updates in a secure environment to better the lives of clients.
Transparency and open communication can help people feel empowered and foster improved cooperation toward the common goal of improving the lives of people living with disabilities.
We created Navigating Life, a closed social network for human services organizations. Starting with best-in-class social networking and sharing features, we integrated clinical data and administrative oversight to meet the specific needs of these organizations. We rolled the platform out to customers with a supportive training and orientation program and continue to add features and functionality driven by how users are actively engaging.
